Tech Junkies (CES '07)
Tech junkies January (07) was the annual Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas and although I couldn't attend like most of us, that doesn't mean we can't get our techno gadget fix. I was reading one of my computer rags and came across a web reference that hosts video clips of exciting new tech gadgets, mary are available now and/or the near future. At the time of this writing (drafting traveling to the Houston SX) I haven't viewed but a few, however the few I have viewed are worth sharing. These links are links to video clips demonstrating these new gadgets.

First to come to mind is eyejot, a web site that allows you to both record a video (using your Web Cam) and host your video on there Web site. You then address an e-mail message to your friends/family/whom-ever to visit and view. A video e-mail Web card twist. I have a feeling we'll be seeing this popping up everywhere.

Here's another interesting gizmo for the Cell phone addict, Teleflip. How about the ability to retrieve your e-mail on any ordinary cell phone without additional text messaging service and to boot for free. What's the catch? From what I understand from the video clip they offer e-mail forwarding to any cell phone from their Web based appliance to any cell phone. You have to provide your e-mail information as well as your cell phone number. In all it's still interesting and worth looking into if you have the need for e-mail to your cell phone.

Computer techie...? Data Drive Thru, Innovative Dallas entrepreneurs demo a product that solve the problem of data transfer between two personal computers/laptops (PCs). Its unique USB design help to automate the process of getting your data from one PC to another.
